What's your favorite BEAM type?

Mines a phototropic solar roller. I want to make a bunch of them. A close second would be a BEAM head, just because I have seen a few sweet videos of 2DOF ones that I would love to build myself...

Yea a 2DOF would be sweet. Always wanted to make one.

Pummers, symets, headbots and walkers

My favorites are headbots and walkers...althought i did build a symet and am proud of it.

I really like the idea of a forest of pummers.My suggestion would be to use a large solarcell to feed several pummers instead of a single cell for each pummer.As for how it should look :your imagination is the limit....but personally I'd put the LEDs on pipes with a bend in them instead of just straight ones.....And maybe use just a few colours,but that's my personal taste.

my favorite is the REALhead which i have invented,i have created it finally, it is a 2DOF head that has a mouth that talks and move using gears and it winks its eyes. i have a permission from Mark Tilden to create this new type of BEAM.
